I'm experiencing the exact same behavior as sentiv, except for mapping network drives from QfinderPro, where my situation is the exact same as scdctiger's. There is nothing in the release notes of the firmware that clearly points to anything relevant to the issue at hand.Īlso, common known issues related to that firmware version do not include it. Unfortunately, I didn't write down the firmware version that was delivered with the device. With the device out-of-the-box, there was no problem accessing shared folder from Windows file explorer. I can provide more diagnostic info if I know what would be helpful. I'm hoping it is something obvious that I cannot see because I'm new at this. But it would be a shame to dump the NAS approach and hardware. Please please help! I don't know what else to do, short of buying an external USB enclosure and reformatting the drives.

In Acronis TrueImage 2021: I can select the NAS as a destination, but after I enter my username and password (tried both admin and a different user) it comes back as "connection failed". After a varying number of seconds I get the dreaded "Windows cannot access. In Windows File Explorer: Cannot expand the NAS. When I cancel, then quit, the new folder does show up in the list in FileStation5 and seems functional.
